KOO Tigers's Halil Utku Evvah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KOO Tigers's Seyfi Akbayrak got a free kick in the 21st minute. Halil Utku Evvah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of the match. Halil Utku Evvah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Halil Utku Evvah was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lv Lei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lv Lei in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lv Lei to make the kick off. Meriç Baytekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Lei in the 57th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilmi Onursan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. KOO Tigers's Halil Utku Evvah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save KOO Tigers from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. KOO Tigers's Halil Utku Evvah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Désiré Kaká during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
