Emrullah Kayı started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Tuzluca's Aytek Mahsun got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Bozkurt Akbaşak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ejnar Prisov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moises Fernandino came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ejnar Prisov could save by the left post. 23 minutes into the game, Emrullah Kayı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Tuzluca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Emrullah Kayı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Fernandinos short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Ejnar Prisov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Mateo Leguizamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luis Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Emrullah Kayı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita skillfully saved the ball. After 34 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Valentino Ferrant. Emrullah Kayı struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tuzluca. The crowd rose to their feet as El Salvador's Moises Fernandino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ejnar Prisov. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mateo Leguizamo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ejnar Prisov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Bozkurt Akbaşak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Bozkurt Akbaşak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Emrullah Kayı came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC Tuzluca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emrullah Kayı couldn't finish the play. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. FC Tuzluca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
