Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mario Fernandino might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ejnar Prisov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 60 minutes, Alfredo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the FC Tuzluca players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Bozkurt Akbaşak took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Camilo Freixa to make any attempt to save it. If Julio Chicote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
