To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's Nicolas Hamard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Hamard, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Cats and dogs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. 22 minutes into the match, Nicolas Hamard dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-1. In the 27th minute, Cats and dogs's Felix Emmanuel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 29th minute, Redouane Goude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Felix Emmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Joe Camp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joe Camp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Nicolas Hamard made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Felix Emmanuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Redouane Goude hit a great ball. Cats and dogs's Gaétan Bouchard was substituted for Felix Emmanuel. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmond Saury, made in the 68th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Hamard in the 75th minute of play. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Cats and dogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Nicolas Hamard made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 85th minute, Gaétan Bouchard made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joe Camp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Nicolas Hamard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaétan Bouchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cats and dogs's Nicolas Hamard got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
