It was Teodoro Gamus who took care of the corner kick. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Pustak in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilliam den Pelsmaeker in the 24th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 32nd minute, but Jerzy Karaszkiewicz got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI hanging dry this time. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Cockaerts in the 33rd minute of play. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 37th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. After a rather tough play, DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI's Walery Niezywy got a free kick in the 51st minute. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilliam den Pelsmaeker in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilliam den Pelsmaeker in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Orlando Casaus kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Kanakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI's Magnus Wallmark was substituted for Gilliam den Pelsmaeker. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Wieslaw Solecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chile booed when DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Solecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Chile's Orlando Casaus got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 88th minute, Herbert Dec made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Chile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
