Gerasimos Kalonis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Tolis Mantouvalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolis Mantouvalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 34th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Patricio Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolis Mantouvalos was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Leonidas Lithopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Demis Thanos fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toutourouki f.c.'s protests and gave Demis Thanos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Toutourouki f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demis Thanos to maneuver through the defense.

Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faris Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Faris Seng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Toutourouki f.c.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
