In the 8th minute, 温洲皓 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 方天坚 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Miralles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, 香港荃湾区犀鸟代表队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frane Ležaić to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frane Ležaić in the 17th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, 香港荃湾区犀鸟代表队's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but 方天坚 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, 香港荃湾区犀鸟代表队's 方天坚 got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. 方天坚 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 44th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Berganza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 方天坚. That made the score 1-3 in the 45 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 唐桑镇 made a kick off. A collision led to 香港荃湾区犀鸟代表队 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Klas Söderlund hit a great ball. 方天坚 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 57th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Abraham Alguacil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 71 minutes into the match, 香港荃湾区犀鸟代表队's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but 方天坚 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, 香港荃湾区犀鸟代表队's Klas Söderlund got a free kick in the 94th minute. Despite being the better team, Panama failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
