Sebastián Sosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Lauro came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Wilhelm Widberg hit a great ball. Sebastián Sosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Gallo in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Sosa saved Vikingos FC from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
