Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Black-White MH's Elano Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 23rd minute of play. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Prestes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Black-White MH's Sigvard Åkesson got a free kick in the 25th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cengiz Zorbey to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Sigvard Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Black-White MH defense, Cassius Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elano Prestes. The Black-White MH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elano Prestes should have stopped the shot.
