Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Club Ahja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Neves to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Club Ahja's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Avraam Iasonidis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Ahja's goalkeeper Avraam Iasonidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Club Ahja's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Avraam Iasonidis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Ahja's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Avraam Iasonidis, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Avraam Iasonidis. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. After 37 played minutes Club Ahja got a freekick which was hit by Julian Roberts. Avraam Iasonidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avraam Iasonidis having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Iasonidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avraam Iasonidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avraam Iasonidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Avraam Iasonidis came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Avraam Iasonidis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avraam Iasonidis. Club Ahja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some careless play in the Club Ahja defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avraam Iasonidis. The Club Ahja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avraam Iasonidis should have stopped the shot. Club Ahja's Hendrik Kobakäpp was substituted for Arnold Lanen. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Avraam Iasonidis. Club Ahja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After some careless play in the Club Ahja defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avraam Iasonidis. The Club Ahja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avraam Iasonidis should have stopped the shot.
