In the 10th minute Philipp Van Kestbeek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Zabulón Carabajal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Philipp Van Kestbeek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georges-Philippe Jooris hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zabulón Carabajal made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 35 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Joery Hylen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Joery Hylen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Joery Hylen tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philipp Van Kestbeek in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Klavertje Vier getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Georges-Philippe Jooris hit a great ball. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Celedonio Kemen scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celedonio Kemen's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Van Kestbeek came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zabulón Carabajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Klavertje Vier the free kick. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Van Kestbeek came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Klavertje Vier were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
