Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marten Palermo in the 10th minute of the match. Belfegor FC's Fede Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belfegor FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modesto Bernal took the corner. The corner led Belfegor FC's Modesto Bernal to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Belfegor FC's Eriberto Montel got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Belfegor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Fede Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Belfegor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Colas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Fede Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Colas came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 51st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 56 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dong Ming Qian. Fede Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fede Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Bernal in the 64th minute of the match. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fede Gomes having to interfere. Belfegor FC made a substitution. Facundo Colidio replaced Walter Erviti. After 72 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. Fede Gomes came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Colas in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fede Gomes saved Belfegor FC from getting behind. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Fede Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After a rather tough play, Belfegor FC's Everardo Colas got a free kick in the 88th minute. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fede Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 96 played minutes Belfegor FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Bernal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
