Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute Stéphane Gaudy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabien Cantin's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Elegance Dijon were awarded a corner. Stéphane Gaudy went to the cornerflag to take it. Stéphane Gaudy made a great header on Elegance Dijon's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabien Cantin in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rdth minute of the game Fabien Cantin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elegance Dijon were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stéphane Gaudy took the corner. Dave Rinaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabien Cantin to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Elegance Dijon's Stéphane Gaudy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 0-2 after 94 minutes of play. The Elegance Dijon players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
