Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Honduras's Moises Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otoniel Mondragon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 4 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Pascal Zeitner got a free kick in the 7th minute. Edmundo Espiga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otoniel Mondragon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otoniel Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otoniel Mondragon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otoniel Mondragon saved Kaysersheim from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loid Vrints in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richmond Abrams in the 23rd minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loid Vrints in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otoniel Mondragon was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otoniel Mondragon having to interfere. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Loid Vrints blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Loid Vrints struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaysersheim. 40 minutes into the game, Kaysersheim's Loid Vrints nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edmundo Espiga in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Otoniel Mondragon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Loid Vrints stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Loid Vrints tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loid Vrints to make the kick off. Kaysersheim's Sam-Lucas Mertens got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otoniel Mondragon was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After having played for 71 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimitri Wittemans got a throw-in 86 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sam-Lucas Mertens. Olliver Pelsmaeker made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sam-Lucas Mertens immediately put the ball in play. After a defensive mix-up in Kaysersheim's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otoniel Mondragon came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaysersheim succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
