With a left leg Gong Ying Zheng saved VC zoetwater from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gong Ying Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gusztáv Bács, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Dariusz Zembrzuski made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. İbrahim Efe Akarsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Robin Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gong Ying Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Gong Ying Zheng in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Ying Zheng having to interfere. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Ying Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Pardons, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The VC zoetwater supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
