An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 3rd minute of play forced Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam-Lucas Mertens made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 6thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Marcos Cotilla would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otoniel Mondragon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otoniel Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento's late challenge caught a Kaysersheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaysersheim's Otoniel Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th minute Richmond Abrams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Kaysersheim's Loid Vrints dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The supporters of Panama booed when Kaysersheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stijn De Schepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. Otoniel Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Kaysersheim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abraham Alguacil in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Otoniel Mondragon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an all-out effort, Panama's Otoniel Mondragon threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
