Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidyo Karakolev, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Siluna Barra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Marcial Laurenciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Моряците's Siluna Barra. Siluna Barra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcial Laurenciano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tenyo Rizov in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Siluna Barra. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Siluna Barra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konstantin Vanev during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when Моряците was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Vanev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Моряците's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Siluna Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Siluna Barra in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roque Feria hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Siluna Barra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of the match. Vidyo Karakolev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Siluna Barra however easily saved by the left post. 96 minutes into the match, Моряците's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Siluna Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
