Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Koby Wright started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's Patrik Olsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jax Williamson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Olsson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Canada booed when VC zoetwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Bo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Canada's Gong Ying Zheng threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Koby Wright, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 9th minute İbrahim Efe Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rohan Watson got free with Gong Ying Zheng in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. İbrahim Efe Akarsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jax Williamson having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Koby Wright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VC zoetwater's Gong Ying Zheng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in VC zoetwater's zone, Carter George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gong Ying Zheng came out of the goal and Carter George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rohan Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Rohan Watson came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rohan Watson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rohan Watson in the 26th minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Olsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jax Williamson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Olsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rohan Watson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gong Ying Zheng having to make a save. Jax Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gusztáv Bács, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Efe Akarsu came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Canada's Koby Wright sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gong Ying Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Bernardo Sharkin made the kick off in the second half. If Rohan Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Canada's Jax Williamson got control of the ball when İbrahim Efe Akarsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gong Ying Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gong Ying Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rohan Watson in the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koby Wright in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gong Ying Zheng saved VC zoetwater from getting behind. If İbrahim Efe Akarsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canada made a substitution. Theo Burton replaced Rohan Watson. If Filip Edwards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Bo Bo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. VC zoetwater made a substitution. Fabien Pardons replaced Gusztáv Bács. In the 73rd minute, Bo Bo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Edwards came free, but Gong Ying Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, VC zoetwater's Bernardo Sharkin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Dixon in the 79th minute. A collision led to Canada getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Prince Anderson hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Canada were awarded a corner. Jan Dixon went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luka Harris almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VC zoetwater's Gong Ying Zheng did a great save. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Luka Harris sped through VC zoetwater's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gong Ying Zheng. Canada's attentive Luka Harris managed to snatch the ball when Dariusz Zembrzuski made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Gong Ying Zheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Mccarthy went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Ying Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canada's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
