Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wiliam Peren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wiliam Peren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 4th minute of the match San Roque FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cheb Diafat ran over to the corner to take the kick. San Roque FC's Erik Hökqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 8 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Pérez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Ramirez in the 10th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Edgardo Gonzalez rounded Ecuador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After 22 minutes of play, San Roque FC's Edgardo Gonzalez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wiliam Peren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Roque FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Pérez having to interfere. In the 45th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Alexander Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Roque FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. San Roque FC's Alexander Pérez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save San Roque FC from getting a goal against them. San Roque FC's Tomás Pinilla was substituted for Edgardo Gonzalez. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montes drilling the ball in to score 2-2 behind San Roque FC's goalkeeper. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Pinilla in the 72nd minute of play. Alexander Pérez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute. San Roque FC's Wilfredo Ramirez was substituted for Calito Sobenis. 85 minutes into the match, Alberto Ramirez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Ramirez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The supporters of San Roque FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Diafat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wiliam Peren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig.
