Elias Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. 33 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Faouzi Louahla came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wara's Elias Urdaspal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 52 minutes, Larkins Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Larkins Potter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Larkins Potter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute Larkins Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larkins Potter in the 60th minute of play. Elias Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 62nd minute of play. Larkins Potter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Wara's Larkins Potter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wara's Larkins Potter got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Urdaspal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Elias Urdaspal in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wara's goalkeeper Elias Urdaspal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Larkins Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Fontirroig. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Pedro Indiano hit a great ball. Wara's Larkins Potter got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Wara could leave the field as winners, despite Chile having more of the ball for most of the match.
