Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Beccari in the 64th minute of play. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Abadia having to make a save. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Franco Beccari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Severino Rojas charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Rojas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Barbudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Rojas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Venezuela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barbudos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Barbudos FC.
