Brahim Amri hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillen Menendez in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Montgomery1960 booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abram Luque during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. If Roman Bojanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abram Luque scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chadli Belfaa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute, Guillen Menendez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montgomery1960 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Montgomery1960 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madhi Ben Bella to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Roman Bojanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 38th minute of the match Abram Luque completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Abram Luque a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chadli Belfaa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Bojanowski made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesus Carvallo during the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Guillen Menendez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chadli Belfaa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillen Menendez in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. In the 68th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Roman Bojanowskis short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Ricardo Zorita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Roman Bojanowski came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Montgomery1960 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Bojanowski couldn't finish the play. Roman Bojanowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Moises Fernandino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Montgomery1960 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. Roman Bojanowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Zorita could save by the left post. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Bojanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
