Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Barbudos FC's Delmiro Ferrer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Delmiro Ferrer notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Barbudos FC's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Abadia came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Delmiro Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Ferrer came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Ferrer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes, Delmiro Ferrer made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Barbudos FC. Gareth Bala stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 0-4. Barbudos FC's Delmiro Ferrer got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Delmiro Ferrer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes, Barbudos FC's Gareth Bala shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barbudos FC reached it. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Ferrer in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. If Marcial Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes, Delmiro Ferrer made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Barbudos FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmiro Ferrer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barbudos FC's Delmiro Ferrer got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Delmiro Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Barbudos FC's Delmiro Ferrer. But to his dismay, Delmiro Ferrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Barbudos FC made a substitution. Franco Beccari replaced Delmiro Ferrer. Barbudos FC's attentive Virgil Van Dijk managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. After 67 minutes of play, Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the game, Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Beccari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Beccari's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Franco Beccari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbudos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Beccari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Beccari came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Beccari took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Franco Beccari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbudos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Beccari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Moruga during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Beccari in the 87th minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barbudos FC's Dionisio Chorche was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Barbudos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
