Freestylers's Sebastian Latocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Arne Jakob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Arne Jakob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Latocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Freestylers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Schlager didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes, Dominik Breckheimer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Freestylers and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Freestylers's Peter Heil got a free kick in the 31st minute. Sebastian Latocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Freestylers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Ahrem to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Nagel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Dominik Breckheimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freestylers's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominik Breckheimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominik Breckheimer in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After 72 played minutes Freestylers got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Müller. Sebastian Latocha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jaime Cazalla. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Breckheimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominik Breckheimer in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Freestylers's Sebastian Latocha got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line.
