Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 17th minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Siekierski in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Wiktor Juszkowski. After 25 played minutes FC LSG got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Gmoch. Wiktor Juszkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 40 minutes into the match, FC LSG's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Wiktor Juszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC LSG's Zbyszek Motowski got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC LSG's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Juszkowski came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC LSG's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Juszkowski came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Tanek Siekierski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Siekierski in the 59th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC LSG's Wiktor Juszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 61st minute of play. Wiktor Juszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiktor Juszkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Juszkowski having to interfere. Jan Frankowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanek Siekierski.
