When Mustapha Boniche fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's protests and gave Mustapha Boniche a yellow card for diving instead. Eduardo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nassim Mansouri took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Nassim Mansouri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum got control of the ball when Eduardo Fontirroig tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Nassim Mansouri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nassim Mansouri's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Mario Fernandino might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Fernandino ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Ferrant in the 61st minute of play forced GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejandro Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Julio Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Julio Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Nassim Mansouri took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Camilo Freixa to make any attempt to save it. After 84 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso de la Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 91st match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso de la Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Tedj Fahima's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tedj Fahima helped the player get up and apologised. Tedj Fahima kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Alfredo Ferrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum having to interfere. Although Bolivia had been in control for most of the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL still came away with the win.
