Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Wynant having to make a save. George Wynant made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Pedrinho Neymar made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes M.⑪.M.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. George Wynant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 57th minute of the match. Peru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave M.⑪.M. the free kick.
