After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Friedrich Engels shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso de la Cruz to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Nassim Mansouri came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Fontirroig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum having to make a save. 23 minutes in the game Tedj Fahima did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nassim Mansouri. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nassim Mansouri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Baptiste Meskine. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save GoooooooooooooooooooooooL from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abderrahmane Mekhloufi to maneuver through the defense. Mario Fernandino, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Fontirroig kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Friedrich Engels sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Friedrich Engels got free with Camilo Freixa in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
