Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Remie Dirckx came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes in the game Efrain Moruga did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eliseo Noboa. 22 minutes into the game, Juan Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zero Gravity's Thomas-Jan Pastijns quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Benoit Van Heurick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Thibaud Van Lancker in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thibaud Van Lancker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zero Gravity's Bart Wittemans. Zero Gravity's Bart Wittemans managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 58 minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Jacq Van den Berghe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zero Gravity's attentive Bart Wittemans managed to snatch the ball when Abel Carballo made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Hugo Ferrant made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aaron Alcocer immediately put the ball in play. 68 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibaud Van Lancker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Zero Gravity's attentive Jacq Van den Berghe managed to snatch the ball when Alan Moruga made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Benoit Van Heurick was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bart Wittemans's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bart Wittemans helped the player get up and apologised. Bart Wittemans kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Thibaud Van Lancker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Eliseo Noboa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thibaud Van Lancker was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zero Gravity's Bart Wittemans. Hugo Ferrant made in the 96th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Puig however managed to control. The Costa Rica support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
