The supporters of Sconvols United booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Fabio Aceto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sconvols United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Luiz Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Mădălin Nicolau hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Luiz Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 24 minutes of play, Sconvols United's Luiz Faria made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mădălin Nicolau kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angelo Di Salvatore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. Luiz Farias short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Mădălin Nicolau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willian Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Luiz Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Shingo Aoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Di Salvatore having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Angelo Di Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Daniele hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Angelo Di Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Alcocer in the 55th minute of play. Sconvols United's Fabio Aceto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 57 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Faria in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Willian Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sconvols United's protests and gave Willian Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. Willian Siqueira hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Sconvols United's Luiz Faria. But to his dismay, Luiz Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 70 minutes into the game, one of Costa Rica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 83rd minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Willian Siqueira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Angelo Di Salvatore made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. 97 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 97th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Sconvols United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Costa Rica for a fine match.
