With his leg Marco Day managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Rafineria Jasło's Krystian Kluba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rafineria Jasło's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krystian Kluba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. USA played a much better game than Rafineria Jasło and deserved their victory. The Rafineria Jasło players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
