Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Tymoteusz Jajko fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marco Day, passed just outside the right post. In the 9th minute, Servet Sönmez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Maria Gibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maria Gibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob May, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maria Gibon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Cassius Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Servet Sönmez struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WiTeK TeAm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 27th minute of play forced WiTeK TeAm's goalkeeper Maria Gibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maria Gibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Servet Sönmez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Day, 1-0. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Huk in the 42nd minute of play. When Miro Contratas fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WiTeK TeAm's protests and gave Miro Contratas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, WiTeK TeAm's Miro Contratas got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servet Sönmez in the 52nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Servet Sönmez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Servet Sönmez in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Huk in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, WiTeK TeAm's Servet Sönmez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beniamin Huk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, WiTeK TeAm's Maria Gibon got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. WiTeK TeAm made a substitution. Emil Borowski replaced Beniamin Huk. In the 88th minute Konstanty Janiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Maria Gibon in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Konstanty Janiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, WiTeK TeAm's goalkeeper Maria Gibon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. When the referee blew the final whistle, WiTeK TeAm could leave the field as winners, despite USA having more of the ball for most of the match.
