Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Pil SK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Valentin Hägglund hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Pil SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Harald Lindell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Berglund. Tony Berglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harald Lindell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harald Lindell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pil SK's Harald Lindell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tony Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pil SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Berglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Pelle Lindmark made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

Harald Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harald Lindell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of play. Pil SK made a substitution. Lars-Erik Lindsten replaced Torbjörn Rosendal. Luis Andino made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Lindsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 62nd minute of play forced Pil SK's goalkeeper Harald Lindell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pil SK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Lindell. Pil SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Berglund came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Lucente hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Harald Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes Pil SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Lars-Erik Lindsten tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Harald Lindell. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-3 in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pil SK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Lindell came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
