In the 3rd minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 4thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altinova SK's Vefa Hünerli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Min Jaeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play forced Altinova SK's goalkeeper Vefa Hünerli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vefa Hünerli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 14th minute. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Altinova SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Ecuador's Antonio Arias getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Vefa Hünerli. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vefa Hünerli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vefa Hünerli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vefa Hünerli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Vefa Hünerli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of the match.
The wind increased when Dobromir Czekaj made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Altinova SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Vefa Hünerli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vefa Hünerli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vefa Hünerli came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the Altinova SK defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vefa Hünerli. The Altinova SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vefa Hünerli should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Altinova SK's goalkeeper Vefa Hünerli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilias Mavrakos in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play forced Altinova SK's goalkeeper Vefa Hünerli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altinova SK's Vefa Hünerli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 78th minute of play forced Altinova SK's goalkeeper Vefa Hünerli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vefa Hünerli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Czekaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Dobromir Czekaj might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dobromir Czekaj ran back to his position shaking his head. Vefa Hünerli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 87th minute of the match. Altinova SK's Ilias Mavrakos got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Vefa Hünerli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Altinova SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
