Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hlonda Boyz's Toma Lechev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Toma Lechev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 25th minute, Toma Lechev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hlonda Boyz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Hlonda Boyz's attentive Wit Redisz managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of Hlonda Boyz booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Toma Lechev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Toma Lechev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Zakrzewski came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 87th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Hlonda Boyz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. 91 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Tomaka came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Tomaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benedykt Zakrzewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hlonda Boyz's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
