Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sacro Balompié's Apolo Peto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Baltasar Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Maties in the 14th minute of play. Baltasar Sancho came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Almiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Almiron came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Sacro Balompié got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Almiron ran over to the corner to take the kick. Matias Maties kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Almiron came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Cedro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltasar Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Almiron in the 46th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Almiron was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Victorio Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Peto in the 60th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Jeremias Gaueko replaced Apolo Peto. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Baltasar Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 79th match minute, Sacro Balompié was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Maties to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baltasar Sancho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Miguel Almiron scored 2-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Almiron in the 88th minute of the match.
