Vila were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olari Kabral took the corner. Julian Murillo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Koit Vaikma 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Yin Nan Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Georg Oher kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Vila's Rauno Koba got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Oher in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Vila's goalkeeper Koit Vaikma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. In the 38th match minute, Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viljar Läänemets to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Viljar Läänemets hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olari Kabral during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vila's Olari Kabral got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Peru's Eliseo Mina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Koit Vaikma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Vila's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Koit Vaikma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Viljar Läänemets made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Koit Vaikma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Vila's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Koit Vaikma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Georg Oher tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Viljar Läänemets in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 80th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koit Vaikma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila's Koit Vaikma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 81st minute of play. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Viljar Läänemets made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lin Jun Xuan. After 87 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Mina. In the 91st minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koit Vaikma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristjan Jaani in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Koit Vaikma. Vila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Gallo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peru fully deserved thier win.
