Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Balaceanu UFC's Alex Aliuta in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
