Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marijan Kempes started the match with the kick off. In the 2ndth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but As de Copas's Ruslan Reichl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruslan Reichl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 8th minute of the match. Ruslan Reichl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marijan Kempes in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 13th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Reichl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Andino made in the 14th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montes. Ruslan Reichl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. As de Copas's Timoteo Vito quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by As de Copas's Timoteo Vito. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye As de Copas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but As de Copas's Ruslan Reichl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruslan Reichl despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Zorita. In the 31st minute, Patricio Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruslan Reichl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marijan Kempes's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felix Montenegro.

Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marijan Kempes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. As de Copas were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timoteo Vito took the corner. In the 55th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Reichl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. As de Copas's Ruslan Reichl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save As de Copas from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Marijan Kempes put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by As de Copas's Marijan Kempes. But to his dismay, Marijan Kempes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marijan Kempes in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute Marijan Kempes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Ulizes hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. As de Copas's Ruslan Reichl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save As de Copas from getting a goal against them. After 88 minutes, Primitivo Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the As de Copas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Marijan Kempes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, As de Copas could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
