Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Siim Übi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 2nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC CORK CITY. José Maria da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panayot Momchilov in the 13th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC CORK CITY were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Panayot Momchilov took the corner. The corner led FC CORK CITY's Cristi Cicortaș to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medero Arraz in the 18th minute of play. Rigoberto Mina was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. Cristi Cicortaș placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 22 minutes into the match, FC CORK CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Siim Übi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Medero Arraz took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play, FC CORK CITY's Medero Arraz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Cristi Cicortaș made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristi Cicortaș made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Medero Arraz. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siim Übi having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamel Messina in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC CORK CITY's Medero Arraz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-5 after 60 minutes of play. In the 65th minute, Martin Silyanovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 69 in the game by Medero Arraz from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tencho Ralinov in the 73 minute of the game. Siim Übi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes FC CORK CITY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Siim Übi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Medero Arraz got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tencho Ralinov got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kamel Messina. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 85th minute. Tencho Ralinov got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by José Maria da Cunha. If Jonathan Venegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Camilo Gaos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tencho Ralinov, made in the 95th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Cicortaș in the 97th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
