With an all-out effort, Honduras's Christopher Borda threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 9 minutes into the match, Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Christopher Borda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Victoria's Christopher Borda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christopher Borda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Ivan Navarro in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Victoria's Shaun Kenely. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Teuma Castelletti in the 15th minute of play. Christopher Borda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 17th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Victoria's Christopher Borda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christopher Borda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emilio Uxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shaun Kenely during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Victoria getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Shaun Kenely hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Victoria defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christopher Borda. The Victoria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christopher Borda should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christopher Borda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Christopher Borda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Villa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 44 minute of play. Christopher Borda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicholas Theuma to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Mark Teuma Castelletti in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Christopher Borda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Christopher Borda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Milagros Cabal went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Christopher Borda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Victoria defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christopher Borda. The Victoria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christopher Borda should have stopped the shot. After 69 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christopher Borda was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Christopher Borda. Victoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. After 78 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Victoria's Christopher Borda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Borda saved Victoria from getting behind. Milagros Cabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Borda having to interfere. Christopher Borda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 90th minute of the match. Christopher Borda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. There was no doubt that Honduras were the better team. Honduras's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
