Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 7 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Ljusberg in the 8th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Ulf Säf got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mats Ljusberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mats Ljusberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Mats Ljusberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a Svartvallstjärnens IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Svartvallstjärnens IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Ljusberg came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Mats Ljusberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Svartvallstjärnens IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Mats Ljusberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 36th minute of the match, Ulf Säf tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Jan-Erik Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Kieth Isebergh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Erik Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Ljusberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Björn Andberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Alvar Vibjörnsson got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 62nd minute, Ulf Säf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Ljusberg in the 64th minute of the match. Ulf Säf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Ulf Säf scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Jan-Erik Carlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Tommy Granberg replaced Jan-Erik Carlsson. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Tore Svartström was substituted for Mats Ljusberg. Venezuela's attentive Patricio Costa managed to snatch the ball when Henrik Hägert made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Tommy Granberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Granberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 88 played minutes Svartvallstjärnens IF got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Säf. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Kevin Karlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tore Svartström in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute Tore Svartström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Björn Andberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Svartvallstjärnens IF's players had a chance to rest.
