Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 潘威夕 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 山东菏泽考公联队's 潘威夕 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 68th minute of play. 潘威夕 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 朱挺松. If 朱挺松 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If 魏泉国 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 85th minute. If 魏泉国 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of 山东菏泽考公联队 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, 山东菏泽考公联队's 朱挺松 tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 朱挺松 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 山东菏泽考公联队 played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
