After a defensive mix-up in BlacK & BlueS's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matías Domingues came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Céleste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernandinho Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. When Rigoberto Mina was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 50 minutes had been played. The supporters of BlacK & BlueS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Fernandinho Rodrigues sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by BlacK & BlueS's Juninho Mineiro. But to his dismay, Juninho Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Kléberson Paiva's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Kléberson Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BlacK & BlueS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
