Zero Gravity's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zero Gravity's attentive Thomas-Jan Pastijns managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Benoit Van Heurick made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Joshua Curbelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zero Gravity the free kick. Joshua Curbelo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Thibaud Van Lancker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Mateo Leguizamo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Mateo Leguizamo a yellow card for diving instead. El Salvador's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
