Siro Osasun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Osasun saved FlagellumDei from getting behind. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Osasun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Siro Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Kozák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Endre Döbrögi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, FlagellumDei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Puskás to maneuver through the defense. Siro Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FlagellumDei getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gábor Puskás hit a great ball. Siro Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Tibor Pucheli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Kozák in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Kozák in the 53rd minute of play. Siro Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 60th minute of play forced FlagellumDei's goalkeeper Siro Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Vencel Sarkady got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Siro Osasun. The goal made the score 0-2. Siro Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Kozák in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 77 minutes into the match, FlagellumDei's goalkeeper Siro Osasun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Siro Osasun made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Siro Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 89th minute of the match. FlagellumDei's Tibor Pucheli got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
