Daniel Zorita walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 刘斐斐, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the 巴黎圣日尔曼 defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 刘斐斐. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 庞城梁 in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 巴黎圣日尔曼 throughout the match.
