The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, 巴黎圣日尔曼's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 庞城梁, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When 庞城梁 came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the 巴黎圣日尔曼 fans jumped to their feet. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 黄云国 in the 54th minute of play. 巴黎圣日尔曼 made a substitution. Gao Xiang Tian replaced Adrian Chorche. In the 58th minute of the game 潘谦义 made a throw-in which 魏天 played forward. After 60 minutes of play, 巴黎圣日尔曼's 黄云国 made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute 庞城梁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 巴黎圣日尔曼's 刘斐斐 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save 巴黎圣日尔曼 from getting a goal against them. 庞城梁 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 刘斐斐. That made the score 4-2 in the 86 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, 莫天勇 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 莫天勇 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. 巴黎圣日尔曼's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
