Kléber Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Goth Cloudy Experience's Kauan Cosme got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kléber Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Goth Cloudy Experience's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Kléber Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kléber Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kléber Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kléber Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of the match. Renatinho Galvão's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renatinho Galvão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Renatinho Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kauan Cosme fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goth Cloudy Experience's protests and gave Kauan Cosme a yellow card for diving instead. Kauan Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Goth Cloudy Experience's Kléber Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glauco Severo made a kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, Luis Andino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kléber Motta, 0-2. After some careless play in the Goth Cloudy Experience defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléber Motta. The Goth Cloudy Experience fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléber Motta should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Felix Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Kléber Motta to make any attempt to save it. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Severo in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, Goth Cloudy Experience's Kléber Motta got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Goth Cloudy Experience's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléber Motta came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Goth Cloudy Experience's Renatinho Galvão got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Goth Cloudy Experience's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Goth Cloudy Experience's Frank Velloso got a free kick in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléber Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Goth Cloudy Experience throughout the match.
