Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. Jarrett Rosenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicky Cavazoss short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Romero in the 16th minute of play. Patrick Fontenot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shawn Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shawn Romero in the 28th minute of play. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarrett Rosenberg having to make a save. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Robustiano Amor with Nicky Cavazos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 36 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Fontenot. In the 40th minute of the match Cosmos Soccer Club got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harvey Flynn ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cosmos Soccer Club's Harvey Flynn was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jarrett Rosenberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Luca Espinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Honduras were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shawn Romero to make the kick off. Nicky Cavazos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Nicky Cavazos made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Robustiano Amor hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Robustiano Amor's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Amor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Robustiano Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Shawn Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosmos Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shawn Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. Cosmos Soccer Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarrett Rosenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Cavazos in the 80th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Jarrett Rosenberg in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarrett Rosenberg. Jarrett Rosenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Nicky Cavazos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosmos Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Nicky Cavazos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
